good stuff February 8, 2010 Paul Finch I bought two of these for players on my youth basketball team and both players say they are comfortable and don't mind wearing them in physical basketball games.
Sizing totally inaccurate December 10, 2009 music lover, professional concert pianist (NY, NY) Looks likes a great mouthguard in terms of construction but my very average sized daughter (50% in height and weight) was not anywhere close to being able to fit into this mouthguard. Looks like it is for a 5 or 6 year old. 6 year olds are not youths.
Great November 5, 2009 This mouthguard molds easier than the cheaper ones and stays in place while playing tackle football. It absorbs shock very well and have literally saved my teeth from getting knocked loose once. It is also easier to breathe through. If this mouthguard stays in place while playing tackle football and you can breathe through this while playing, I think this mouthguard will work for any sport. And as a bonus, it looks awesome.
Good product-holds up better than other mouthguards October 22, 2009 Noah E. Schumaker (Fairmont, WV USA) My 6 year-old played flag football this year for the first time and he was going thru mouthguards every week. This was the first one to last for about a month --- I know it doesn't sound like much but with twice a week practices and a game every week it took a lot of abuse. I haven't found one yet that out-performs this one.
This mouthguard is too big for small children October 5, 2009 C. K. Larremore 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this mouthguard for my 7 year old daughter to wear while she plays soccer. The gel mouthguard is bulkie for small mouths. My daughter has a hard time keeping it in place while running and playing. We have since purchased the Shock Doctor Pro "Youth" Shock Doctor " Pro " Mouth Guardand been much happier with it. Because it does not have the additional bulk that is created by the gel it tends to stay in place better.
