Works well with youth flag football. November 2, 2008

I am an elementary teacher who runs a recess flag football league for 4th and 5th graders. I was tired of using Velcro belts and flags because they lost their ability to stick together over time. I was awarded a little bit more money this year and decided to get some nice flags. These flags are great for the age group that I work with. After a few games the students understood how to fasten the belts and reattach the flags on their own. The pop that the flag gives when it is pulled helps me to know when the runner is "down" a lot better than the Velcro flags. The only complaints I have are that it took my wife and me about two hours to assemble 24 belts and that the instructions aren't very informative. You kind of have to figure it out on your own. After the initial work of putting them together, I have very much enjoyed them and went ahead and bought the special rings that you can store the flags on. These keep them from tangling up like the Velcro flags do. I would recommend these flags to anyone who has the budget to buy them.

sturdy material; belt instruct. a little confusing June 19, 2008

instuctions were not clear(pretty useless) on how to close belt (attaching flags is easy), so I made up my own way to accomodate the K-4th graders. We put together and knotted excess w/ the intent the kids could step into. Though some didn't 'get' the fact that flags need to point down to the ground and put the belt on upside down. Probably best for older grades...though I would still recommend stepping into. It is made of a sturdy material and can't see it breaking; and the pop is very defined/clear. Obviously bought two sets in different colors
