Amazon.com Product Description Step up to the plate with confidence with the Easton SX70 Reflex slow-pitch softball bat. The SX70 Reflex is comfortable in the hand and powerful at the plate, with a concave Mother Load pre-loaded end cap helping produce maximum force with every swing. Made of a 7050 aircraft alloy, the bat also offers a 12-inch barrel and an ultra-thin 29/32-inch tapered handle with a cushioned grip. About Easton In 1922, Doug Easton began crafting custom wood bows and cedar arrows in Watsonville, California. Although Doug produced tournament-grade, footed cedar arrows for the archery champions of that era, he was constantly frustrated with the inconsistency and lack of uniformity of wood shafts. Convinced that consistently straight uniform arrow shafts were impossible to manufacture from wood, Doug turned his attentions to aluminum. In 1939, he began manufacturing aluminum arrows in Los Angeles. His instincts about this material were correct, and in 1941, California archer Larry Hughes won the national championship with a set of Doug's aluminum arrows. This was the beginning of a trend that would change traditional archery and transcend into numerous other sports arenas over the next 50 years. Today, Jas. D. Easton, Inc. is a privately owned manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of sporting equipment, headquartered in Van Nuys, California. It currently employs more than 1,000 people worldwide in various distribution, manufacturing, sales and marketing capacities. Other operations are located in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mexico, and Canada. Easton is considered one of the world's preeminent innovators, designers, and manufacturers of sporting equipment. Much of this success is due to Easton's corporate strategy centered around producing products for the highest level of performance. Throughout its history, Easton has not only grown from within, but through the selective acquisition of other technology-based sporting goods companies.

Savings!!! August 30, 2010 Paul Roy (RALEIGH, NC, US) Bat hits really well. Good pop for the price, which was also $40 less than the exact same bat sell's at Dick's Sporting goods.
Great bat for the price August 25, 2010 A. Trevizo I'm just starting to get into softball and this bat is great value for the price. I got the 30oz for about 55 bucks with free shipping. It defiantly doesn't feel like it weighs 30oz and I actually prefer this bat over my friends miken.
great softball bat August 23, 2010 Amrom Kruman my best softball bat, it has an extra pop if you make good contact especially hitting those softballs/clinchers
Easton SX70 Softball Bat July 12, 2010 Boss The bat feels good in the hands and has some nice pop to it. The team has began to notice the mishits seem to carry further than balls you feel like you made great contact with. Good contact seems to really put some spin on the ball. Seems like more of a line drive bat than a deep ball bat.
good bat July 11, 2010 Kenneth W. Pearl (Los Alamos, NM) I bought this bat because our rec team did not have any bats. I thought it would be a good starter bat and it has been worth it.
