The classic Wiffle Bat October 6, 2009 Joker (Michigan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This 32 inch yellow Wiffle Bat is the classic hard plastic Wiffle Bat going back many decades. I started using this Wiffle Bat back in 1976 while playing backyard Wiffleball and I still use it to this day because it's irreplaceable. In other words, a classic. It is very durable. I've only owned maybe three or four of them in my lifetime because they are durable. In addition to using the regular standard size Wiffle balls, I also like to fool around with the plastic practice golf ball "Wiffle" balls. It's more challenging to hit the smaller Wiffle balls. All in all, a great product that will last.
Real deal Wiffle Ball Bat August 18, 2009 N. Gaines (Chicago, IL) This is the original classic yellow wiffle ball bat. Ordered four of them for a 8-team tournament and they held up nicely. Great price, no disappointments.
cdad July 11, 2009 cdad (Naples, FL United States) I recently bought this bat and was a bit disappointed in the diameter of the bat which is about 1.5" wide at the thickest point. I must admit I played baseball and do not recall the wiffle ball stage of life, but I was expecting something a bit wider in diameter along the lines of a baseball bat which is closer in width to the 3" diameter baseball and 9" wiffle balls which I ordered with it.
The 9" wiffle ball is only 3" in diameter--why they call it a 9" ball is something I did not get either. The previous bat and ball I was using with my 3 yr old boy and six year old girl were wider closer to 4" diameter for both, which so far I feel works better at that age. Perhaps with time I will feel differently, but if you are not that wiffle ball knowledgeable, this review might help you understand what you are buying a bit better. I not sure if these are typical dimensions for a wiffle ball and bat or, if there is even a standard?
Perfect for July 4th Festivities! June 15, 2007 tommus (U.S. and A.) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
After you are tuckered out from an all-day 4th of July wiffle ball marathon, you can turn this plastic yellow bat upside down and use it as a hand-held bottle rocket launcher. (That's what the little hole at the end of the handle is for) Even the big ones won't burn you.
This inexpensive, plastic Chinese-crafted product allows you to play America's pastime and shoot off fireworks in a safe, relaxing and convenient manner, and that's what freedom is all about, folks.
And think ahead, buy wiffle balls by the dozen...
For wiffle ball or for training your horse March 18, 2007 J. Paulson (Tucson, AZ, USA) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
This wiffle bat is light and easy to use. Substitue it for a whip or crop when training your young horse. It will not hurt the horse, but will get the horse's attention!
